Our goal is to host a FUN, community orientated event while promoting the physical and social benefits of dragon boat racing. We strive to maintain an affordable participant registration cost by subsidizing event expenses through community sponsors & donations. With the generous support and contributions from businesses, organizations and people like you, we look forward to growing the event year after year!
The Wildwood Dragon Boat Challenge is hosted by Thames River Paddling Club, a Registered Non-For Profit Organization, focused on providing safe & enjoyable paddling programs to the local community. The event has also partnered with the St. Marys Fire Department and a portion of funds raised will be put towards the numerous local charities and organizations that the Fire Department supports, including Muscular Dystrophy Canada and several local sports teams.
